Though, the rumors are related to the supply chain, so while it's likely true that Apple is ramping up with large displays, I suspect it's for the next iMac and not a lone display. So I still have research to do, but some things stopping me from pulling the trigger are potential Cyber Monday sales (which will come soon enough), and the rumors of Apple releasing a monitor in early 2022. I've only begun looking recently and my MBP isn't set to arrive until Dec 1-8. For now I'm leaning toward the 32 inch 4k LG from the article (other repliers here have recommended it, which is encouraging). I'm not a graphic artist or anything so I don't NEED the ultra color-accurate displays (or their cost), but obviously I want something that stands up well against the MBP's excellent display. Note that it's not the full 5k, it's a wide screen with the width of 5k and the height of 4k. I'm searching as well and found this 9to5mac article to be a good starting point (I was starting from zero).įrom that, the most obvious recommendation is the LG 5K2K.
